1. Debaucherous Bath & Body - Marshmallow Woods Lotion ($10)
Human brains are weird, man. I used to never like wearing overly sweet fragrances on my body, but lately I can't get enough of marshmallow scents. Debaucherous Bath makes a bunch of "Marshmallow Woods" scented products, with the following notes listed: Toasted Marshmallows, butterscotch, vanilla bean, woods, maple leaves, acorns. Um, that sounds AMAZING, and perfect for fall. I've never tried Debaucherous before but I'm tempted by the lotion—have you tried them? Any no-miss products?
2. Sleepy Mountain - Nicolas Cage Earrings ($9)
Just when you though the internet's obsession with Nicolas Cage was dying down ... nope. Who needs diamonds when you can wear the star of fine films such as "Snake Eyes" or "Knowing" in your lobes? If Nic Cage isn't your thing, they also earring versions of Steve Buscemi, Bob Saget, and a variety of other celebrities and food items. If you buy them, I'm sure you'll be the only gal (or guy) with Bob Saget earrings on your block. Just saying.
3. MAKINGtheNESTofIT Mini Clothespins (prices vary)
I've had this obsession lately with hanging things by clips. Mini clips, to be more specific, as it's a known fact that tiny things are just cuter. The pins in MAKINGtheNESTofIT's shop come in a variety of adorable designs and colors—squee! Perhaps my home office will finally be Pinterest-perfect if I get some of these. (Or not, because like ... I'm still a slob.)
4. Elsie J - Cheesy Love Card ($3.75)
Some of you may already be familiar with the Elsie J shop because of the thing I posted yesterday about Pennie Post, but if not, check it out! She makes ADORABLE stationery, invites, cards etc. This is one of my favorite cards that I spotted—if you don't want to click on the link, it's a picture of two anthropomorphic pieces of cheese holding hands with the caption "Let's grow MOLD together." I am 100% certain this would make my boyfriend laugh. Buy one and tuck it away for Valentine's Day, perhaps?
5. Notoriously Morbid Divinations Blush Collection ($8.50 each)
Regular readers of my Indie Friday posts are probably aware that I love Notoriously Morbid, maker of fabulous eyeshadows and lip balm and other things. She recently put out a collection of new blushes, and of course I want to try all of them because oooooh pretty colors. I actually picked up samples of "Necromany" and "Osteomancy" (her contour and highlight shades, respectively), but I still haven't had a chance to try them. Have you tried any of these blushes? What did you think?
6. Madame Scodioli/ScodioliCreative - Farewell Soap Bar ($8)
I'll admit that I'm probably being taken in by the packaging more than just a bit here, but this soap just seems so darn elegant. This is a lilac and bergamot scent, and "is a lovely blend, soft and light, with slight notes of mahogany, vanilla and rosewood." So I'm thinking it probably smells good too then, eh?
7. Performance Colors Lipsticks. ALL OF THEM. ($6 each or 3/$12)
Performance Colors is one of those indie companies I've heard lots of good things about, but still never tried. Their shade selection seems to be a bit "safer" than some indie shops (lots of reds/pinks/purples, no green or yellow or anything). But that makes it tougher to choose—a lot of them look really pretty! If I had to pick just one right now I'd probably go for SHOWDOWN. Or not. Ahhhh! They do have a 3/$12 deal, which makes trying a few at a time less burdensome.
Like some of the stuff on my wishlist? Well as I said above, I'll be giving away a $25 gift card to one lucky reader—more than enough to pick up one of these lovelies!

What do you think of my Etsy picks? Are any of these items on your wishlist?
Those picks are so cute! I adore Etsy, and basically shop there all the time for everything from jewelry to clothing to decor.
ReplyDeleteThere is so much that I love on Etsy. I saw a lip balm called "Unicorn Farts" and thought it would be the perfect stocking stuffer! Lol!
ReplyDeleteHaha yes! I think my BF could use some Unicorn Farts on his face. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway! I've been addicted to etsy for years and years now! I love getting unique gifts for friends and family so it's a great place to do that. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the accessory pillows on Etsy. There are so many to choose from, and amazing prices!
ReplyDeleteOh man, there is SO MUCH amazing stuff on Etsy, I wouldn't even know where to begin with my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI'm always on ETSY looking at one thing or another - I tend to go from one thing to another. Last night I seen some amazing Halloween Mason Jars from MagicOwlDesigns.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I totally posted a wishlist post today too! XD
ReplyDeleteI will definitely check yours out!
ReplyDeletePS I just tried commenting on your post ... not sure if you have auto-approval turned off but I think my comment might have been eaten by your spam filter. That's been happening to me a lot on WordPres blogs lately for some reason. :(
ReplyDeleteOkay I thought I was the only person that was happening to! I just checked and it was in spam. I don't know what's up with wordpress comments, but it's been spamming me on every blog.
ReplyDeleteI think they end up changing their algorithms or whatever to more aggressively target actual spam, and it ends up causing a lot of false positives from real, well-meaning people like us. :) It's been happening to me on Disqus lately too. Usually I just e-mail their support team when it happens, but it can take a bit to get it resolved. Very frustrating!
ReplyDeleteNick Cage earrings?! so funny - great lookbook..
ReplyDeleteActually I'm not really on Etsy that much (even though after looking at your giveaway I feel like I should be) but what I really want to try out is a couple of indie nail polish shops, especially those with the thermal polish that changes colors according to temperature. They look so cool! Plus the earring shop you featured has a few things I have my eye on (Sushi earrings seem like they should be a staple part of my wardrobe!)
ReplyDeleteThat card is BOSS!! I've been eyeing some cheap but supercute doggy post-its. They're like a dollar but then it's another $3 for shipping. I'm almost about to say it's worth the shipping because, CUTE PUPPIES!
ReplyDeleteYesssss! There are tons of indie polishes I want too. Too many things for one list. And yeah, the food earrings are adorable! I was especially amused by the sushi, pizza and avocado ones. Probably because those are the foods I would most like to eat right now. :P
ReplyDeleteAhhh so cute! Don't tell that seller I told you (shh) but I bet you could find stuff like that on eBay for cheap. Search "dog sticky notes" or something like that.
ReplyDeleteI spend HOURS on Etsy. Ahhh.
ReplyDeleteThose Nick Cage earrings are awesome. The Tina Belcher ones are actually on my own lust list, haha.
Love that cheesy card, too. :)
Haha yes to the Tina earrings! I debated mentioning those too but I didn't want to have a list of 50 names, lol. They have so many good ones!
ReplyDeleteNicolas Cage earrings? GIMME. I would wear them and act as crazy as he did in Face/Off. (Blame it on the C-c-c-c-c-cage.)
ReplyDeleteHaha yes! Wearing pictures of a celebrity whilst impersonating them seems like a highly entertaining way to spend time. :)
ReplyDeleteHah, I wanted the mold card, too! I was thinking for Cheese Weasel Day.
ReplyDeleteThermal polishes are neat, but my nails are usually so short that they are always the warm color on me unless. I put an ice cube on my finger. For polish on etsy, I particularly love Digital Nails and Different Dimension.
ReplyDeleteI love Etsy, but I don't often buy from it because the international shipping costs are killer!
ReplyDeletethanks i really like etsy !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance love etsy..
ReplyDeleteAll the lovely handmade jewelrey on Etsy!
ReplyDeleteI would probably buy handmade jewelry from friedasophie's store! I love her jewelries!

There is so much awesome stuff on etsy. I love to find unique and beautiful gifts, jewelry, and clothing. You can find things you would never find in a store.
ReplyDeleteSome fantastic picks. I know someone who'd love those Nick Cage earrings, but I'm more into trying new indie lipsticks.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing to shop for on etsy is martingale collars for my greyhound, but they are so expensive! It's mostly online window shopping. :x
ReplyDeleteThanks for making me look up Cheese Weasel Day. Learning new stuff, woo-hoo!
ReplyDeleteHaha cool! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd just wear the Nic Cage earrings whilst sporting my new purple indie lipstick. With some strong floral indie perfume thrown on for good measure. And a knit hat. I've never bought a hat off Etsy, but I'm certain that one can.
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of window shopping too because, you know ... bills and stuff. Doesn't hurt to look though. :)
ReplyDeleteReally cool give away! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore Etsy! Personally, I have been eyeing some handmade t-shirts for my beach wedding. :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have a few shops on Etsy that I check frequently. I have found a great place that sells lotion that helps my dry skin better than anything available in store.
ReplyDeleteI like getting steampunk items on Etsy :D (also, if I've entered twice, I didnt mean to. I can't tell if doing it on my phone works or not because every time I get to the computer it tells me I haven't done any of it).
ReplyDeleteOoh, which shop is it?
ReplyDeleteMaybe you're logged into Rafflecopter with a different email address on your phone? Anyway, when I check the entries later I'll just delete any duplicates from you (if there are any) so thanks for the heads-up!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many beautiful items on etsy! I'd love to buy myself a new necklace

ReplyDeleteLoving those mini clothes pins, ultra cute!

ReplyDeletesamantha.tedesco@gmail.com
I didn't know you could do that but that's very cool! Awesome suggestion. :)
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that a bunch of indie sellers use lip-balm type packaging ... you can get empty lipstick bullet tubes in bulk, but of course they're much more expensive and probably more difficult to fill. I think the Performance Colors lippies are supposed to be fairly moisturizing anyway though. :)
ReplyDeleteyeah I'm sure they are much more expensive than the plastic lip balm packaging.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
