Montagne Jeunesse Renew You Sleep Spa Masks + GIVEAWAY!

Sponsored

It's no secret that I like Montagne Jeunesse. I mention them from time to time on my blog because they keep making new mask varieties to discover and love—and the product featured in today's post is no exception! Blog readers, let me introduce you to the new Montagne Jeunesse Renew You Sleep Spa Masks. ("Hello, Renew You Sleep Spa Masks!")

Montagne Jeunesse Renew You Sleep Spa Masks Pure Oils box

In simple terms, the Renew You Sleep Spa Masks are sheet masks meant to be used right before bed. The idea is that the ingredients will soak into your skin and work their beautifying magic as you sleep—handy, eh? There are two varieties:

  • Pure Oils: Nourishes, plumps and quenches thirsty skin
  • Fruit Enzyme: Smooths and eliminates dead skin cells

Both varieties retail at $14.99 for a pack of four individually wrapped masks. You can purchase them at Ulta or on Ulta.com.

Individually wrapped masks = handy for travel!

The mask fiber is made with 100% natural bamboo and is fairly sturdy, but not uncomfortably thick or difficult to arrange on the face. You're supposed to use this after you cleanse and keep the mask on for about 10 minutes, then massage any excess serum into your face—no rinsing required. In other words, if you time it right you won't even need to leave bed after you use these. Hard to get more relaxing than that, right?

I tested out the Pure Oils variety, and here's a little before and "AHHHFTER" (Har har har.)

In case anyone was wondering, the picture on the right is a 100% authentic "I just woke up" snapshot. My eyes might be bleary and my hair a mess, but my skin looks bright and lovely! Mission accomplished.

I really liked the Pure Oils masks because they hydrate, brighten, and have a relaxing spa-like scent. Hydrated skin equals fewer visible fine lines and dullness, at least in my case. And the whole wear it for 10 minutes, chuck it in the trash and pass out in bed thing? That doesn't exactly complicate my routine. Good work, Montagne Jeunesse!

  2. I love sheet masks! I've never tried this brand but am always looking for new things to slather on my face. Especially oils, since I have such dry skin.

  3. I have only tried the Korean brands of these masks :) It would be interesting to try a more western approach to masks.

  4. Are there any ingredients in particular that trigger breakouts for you? My skin isn't especially sensitive so that doesn't often happen to me with masks, but when it does it's not fun. :(

  5. I think these are slightly different to the Korean masks I've tried - the texture of the serum is different, if that makes sense. Good luck!

  6. If you like facial oils you would probably like the "Pure Oils" variety! It's pretty hydrating.

  10. Is that hard to sleep in?

    ReplyDelete
  11. You don't actually sleep in it - the idea is to use it right before bed so the serum can works its magic while you sleep. I suspect if I actually slept with it on it would end up stuck to my pillow, haha! :)

  13. I've only ever done one mask so this would be a great way to try them again. I guess I should just splurge a little but with my boxes I feel like I shouldn't.

  14. I didn't know they did paper versions! Thanks for the review

  15. My friend is a mask fiend!!! She is always sharing with me and I am starting to come aboard. I am most interested in the idea of fruit enzymes vs. harsh synthetic chemicals.

  17. I like that the mask fiber is made of 100% natural bamboo. That's pretty cool. And it won't rip on me. :)

This sounds great! The fruit enzymes sound wonderful. I have keratosis pilaris on my face, and this would be a good exfoliation.

It would be great to try this. I love masks.

  23. Oh that sounds annoying! I get KP on my arms and it's a serious pain to get rid of. Chemical exfoliants (like AHAs etc) definitely help though!

  24. This mask would be just perfect for the summer for a renewed look! (Y) #MJmasks #love it #summer #sleep spa #Renew everday ^_^

  25. I actually am not sure which ingredients do it but I should def find out! I know I mainly avoid anything scented or things that aren't oil free.

  26. Sounds like a nice mask! thanks for the giveaway! ♥

  27. You know, I've never used a sheet mask before; I just imagine using a like, face wipe? and cutting some holes out to wear on my face.

  28. OoooOoOooOoooo! I loove face masks! They always feel so nice so nice when you take them off. I would like to try this mask. The masks I have you must let them stay on your face for about 20 to 30 minutes and that is a long time so a 10 min mask would be much better!

    ReplyDelete
  29. These sound awesome! Thanks!

  30. This really sounds amazing! I don't recall use facial masks because I break out with the ones I have used and would love to give this a try!

  31. You look so lovely, especially with the flower in your hair!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thank you! I actually fell asleep with that flower in my hair. I'm classy like that.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yeah, 10 minutes is definitely easier to squeeze in than half an hour! I like using masks at night but sometimes I just want to lay in bed and not fuss around with it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Haha that's an interesting way to think of it. I guess the material is sort of wet wipe-esque, but the serum is actually moisturizing, unlike wet wipe juice. Though I've never tried to give myself a facial with a wet wipe, so who knows...
