Weekly Poll: Dinner & A Movie

Happy (happy?) Wednesday everybody!

This week's "poll" comes to you not in the form of a question. Sorry, Alex Trebek.

Suggest an excellent movie for everybody reading out there to watch, and a meal to go with it.

The meal doesn't necessarily have to do with what's in the movie, but if you want to play it that way I'll laugh all the harder. (Hint: I already thought of Finding Nemo and fish fingers, so don't even.) Be creative. :)

  3. Well I can see this isn't really the right crowd to suggest Hannibal, fava beans, some meat, and a nice chianti.

  4. Funny enough, my BF was watching Silence of the Lambs the other day while eating beans. They weren't fava beans though. Missed opportunity!

  5. I recently watched American Psycho for the nth time, and love how the restaurants' menus are so pretentious, so... American Psycho and squid ravioli in a lemongrass broth!

  6. I'm digging your creativity with this! We actually rewatched that movie recently, and I must say I found it much funnier than I did the first time around. :)

  7. Two of my great-nieces came and spent Sunday-yesterday with us. We went and seen the movie Non Stop and it was a good suspense movie. We then for dinner that evening we cooked some steaks on the grill and baked sweet and regular potatoes.

  8. We did almost watch Silence of the Lambs on Netflix during there stay, but backed out!!!

  10. I saw a super cute tater tot bar as a party idea on pinterest - tots with all kinds of toppers to make it more of a meal. Yum!

  11. Clueless with two pieces of turkey bacon and like, five peanut butter m and ms. Just kidding. I'd want to eat way more than that. A restaurant in my town just did a showing of Wayne's World with a three course menu of pizza, jelly-filled donuts, and dorito's nachos. I totally wanted to go just for the dinner lol!

  12. That is AMAZING! I like your Clueless idea, though of course I think most of us would need at least five helpings of that to count as "dinner". :P

  13. I want to have that in my house! Don't even need to throw a party as an excuse

  14. Oh that sounds absolutely awesome.

  15. Exactly! But that is about the contents of my pantry right now - seriously we have like NO food except candy and a pack of bacon. So maybe tonight will be a dinner and a movie night at my house lol!
